This policy explains what personal information Accainga collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. Accainga is the data controller. If you have a question about any of it, email ryan.horwood@accainga.com.
Accainga is a finance consultancy operated by Ryan Horwood, registered in England & Wales, company no. 16233950, at 167–169 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5PF.
To reply to your enquiry, to decide whether I can help, and if we work together, to carry out the work you have engaged me for. The lawful basis is legitimate interest for enquiries, and contract for client work.
Nobody, unless one of the following applies: you have asked me to (for example, liaising with your tax adviser or auditor); a service provider needs it to operate my business (email and accounting software providers, acting on my instructions); or the law requires it.
I do not sell data, and I do not share it for marketing.
Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted. Client records: seven years after the engagement ends, which is the period UK records requirements expect.
On business software hosted in the UK, EU or US. Where a provider is outside the UK, the transfer relies on the safeguards in that provider’s own data protection terms.
Access is limited to me. Devices and accounts are protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and files are held in reputable business software rather than on removable media. No system is perfect, but nothing here is left casually accessible.

Email me and I will respond within one month, usually much sooner. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with how I handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
There are none. Nothing on this site or in my work makes automated decisions about you, and I do not profile visitors.
This site and these services are for businesses. I do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
